PMU Adoption in California or Nevada?
My husband and I have been looking for a Percheron for a while now, and while we’ve heard of the PMU adoptions, we haven’t found any in California or Nevada. Does anyone know of any around here? We would much rather adopt than buy (friend of mine adopted a percheron gelding from a PMU rescue who’s no longer in business, he’s a wonderful horse!).

We are looking for a Percheron – I love their temperament and attitudes. We’re looking at training to drive and ride (husband is 6’4″, so any other horse looks like a pony with him on!). I’ve been keeping an eye on our local rescue, but nothing’s come up for 2 years. Honestly I could care less about registration (already have two “mutts” I’ve received as gifts from other people), we just want something to have fun with
