How much hay should you feed your horse on Howrse.com?
I am on howrse.com and I need to know how much hay to feed a fully grown horse. is their any difference between the male and females diet? Because I had a young mare, and it died from being to fat. I just bought a new horse and I don’t want it too die as well. Please help!

It depends on both the breed and the age.
When you go to feed your horse, it will tell you ideally how much to give your horse – each one can be completely different, so no one can really tell you except on your horses’ page.
This calculation only works on horses OVER 3 years old
To work out how much your horse should approximately weigh, times their height by 70
